Dental intra-oral cameras are tiny digital cameras that fit comfortably in your mouth. Located on the end of a small, hand-held wand, the camera lets let Dr. Tracy show you an enlarged image of your smile on a computer screen in real time.

 

These tiny cameras increase your comfort while letting Dr. Tracy – and you – get the best view possible of your teeth. Dental technologies like these help make certain your dental care is as quick, painless and effective as possible.

 

The wand is covered with a disposable plastic sheath, similar to an electronic thermometer, to keep the procedure sterile and comfortable.

 

After viewing those images – which show fractures and trouble spots clearly and distinctly --you can discuss your best treatment with Dr. Tracy. The lighting on this advanced system also illuminates potential dental trouble spots earlier than previously possible.

 

Finding tooth decay early enables Dr. Tracy to treat your teeth before more extensive, invasive and expensive treatment is required. Tooth work, such as cleanings, fillings and restorations, will be smaller and less costly. In addition, you'll retain more of your own natural, healthy teeth.
